Asking someone out on a date

A university student asks one of his classmates out on a date.

Guy

Soo, uhhh, I was wondering if, well, you know, you would like to go grab a cup of coffee or something later today, my treat.

Gal

Umm, did you have somewhere in mind? I'm free right now if that works for you.

Guy

Yeah, actually, there's a place a couple blocks from here, it's called "Kissaten". It's a japanese joint.

Gal

Alright, that sounds nice.

Guy

I think if we hurry we can make it in time for the afternoon show?

Gal

Afternoon show?

Guy

Yeah, they have live traditional japanese music from 2pm to 3pm.

Gal

Oh, cool. We should head over right away, then.

Guy

Alright, I'll call a cab.

Gal

I thought you said it was two blocks away.

Guy

I know, but I don't really feel like running right now

Gal
